Work in the Community
Directors take part in events that support education and community development which include school careers events, competitions and workshops for Education Business Partnerships. They have also made presentations to Connexions, school careers personnel, school teachers and college students regarding careers in construction.
In addition, the directors work closely with the local construction community and its representative body, the Built Environment Hub as well as national body, Constructing Excellence.
Each year, both Roy and Jackie give voluntary time to judge regional and national awards.
Both Directors hold voluntary roles in the business community, as described below, which contribute to business and personnel development on a wider scale.
Success Train makes charitable donations including the Black Country Food Bank and Mary Stevens Hospice.
Our work is recognised as shown in the references below.
"To me, Roy is Mr Constructing Excellence! He was an obvious choice to Chair the Black Country Constructing Excellence Club and to guide its members towards "best practice", which he has been doing tirelessly over the past 4 years. In his consultancy work, he is always up for the challenge, and it is a complete mystery to me how he is able to do a much as he does within a 24 hour period! We could do with many more like Roy in the Construction Industry to help it develop and prosper, especially under the most difficult times.” Michael Thompson, Executive Director, West Midlands Centre for Constructing Excellence
“Jackie gets things done! She is a great asset to any team and is always willing to help - whether it be from the inception of an idea through to execution. A great person to have by your side!” Rachael Hobbis, Solicitor, Shakespeares Solicitors
